Destined to be Texan

It's official...we're moving to Texas. Benj was accepted to Texas A&M and will be doing graduate work in Applied Economics - so College Station here we come! Utah has provided a ton of great experiences for us, and although we'll miss our family, friends, BYU sports, and the mountains - well, we're excited about this new adventure.

As things have started to fall into place we've had fun making plans and getting ready for the move. I had a Texan roommate when I as in college. Her accent, her no nonsense attitude, her incredible politeness, her ability to BBQ, and her love for Dr. Pepper - she was definitely Texan and I learned to appreciate every little piece, including the y'alls. We had a ton of fun living together and we've stayed in touch over the years, so when I told her the news she reminded me of her prophecy from back in the day..."See? I told you. I always said you were destined to be Texan!"

She was right... by the end of the year, we'll be Texan in more ways than one.
